Subsidized Child Care Options
Grandma’s House Subsidized Child Care Options
Childcare-related matters can and often do affect the daily routine of parents in the workplace. Finding a way to pay for child care so that parents can keep their jobs or train for better jobs is a constant challenge for many working families. That’s why Workforce Solutions helps eligible working families pay for child care.
Please contact Workforce Solutions directly to apply for subsidies.
The decision on whether you qualify and the amounts you must pay are determined entirely by Workforce Solutions. Once you qualify for the Subsidized Child Care and you notify them of which school you will be attending (which will hopefully be Grandma’s House), Workforce Solutions will contact us to authorize and start care. Parents who qualify for subsidies have an ongoing obligation to regularly update and respond to inquiries from Workforce Solutions. Failure to do so on a timely basis may cause you to lose your subsidy. Failure to pay your share of the tuition to Grandma’s House will also cause you to lose your subsidy even if you move to another school.
Workforce Solutions: Financial Aid for Child Care
Parents who have a co-pay, are required to have the entire monthly co-pay paid to the Center by the 20th of each month enrolled. We ask that at least ½ the payment due is paid by the 5th of each month and the 2nd half paid by the 20th of each month in order to continue your enrollment.
Workforce Solutions is very generous and easy to work with if you respond to their inquiries and turn in the requested documents on time. If you fail to respond to their inquiries or failure to renew on a timely basis, then you will have a very difficult time keeping your subsidy.
